Aldi running bottoms - just shy of £8 in the special buys from last Thursday. Essentially a pair of bibless longs. Quality seems vastly improved from last year. Not much difference quality wise from a pair of DHB's I have.

Lidl have a "Cycling Update" with a few items I haven't seen before starting from 18/04. I can't see the leaflet online though.

Try here .... http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/www_lidl_uk/hs.xsl/our-offers-2491.htm?id=29&ar=11

I've had one of Lidl tool kits for a few years now. It's good for a starter toolkit - not too much cash outlay (relative to some toolkits !) to give you an opportunity to try and do most of your own servicing.

Some of the tools are not very good - but then you know that you use them and can replace with something better.

Recommended.

I've got a pretty good selection of tools in my garage, I'd just be after the bike specific ones (chain tool, cone spanner etc) and totting them up separately on Amazon this would be cheaper I think.

So the quality is alright then?

+1 scoosh - my kit is fine - not bent a spanner or broken an allen key, only other stuff i tend to use is a decent ring spanner for the wheel nuts. Its so handy having it all in one box as well.
