Tom Hooper put a linky on for Lidl's bike sale from this Thursday. But I just spotted this balance bike (boys and girls styles) from next Monday the 24th. So any one with kids or grandkids it looks a good buy.

Someone was asking if they would have bike stands in. Well my store had about a dozen although I don't think they were shown in the advert

Just popped into Lidl in Tyldesley and they had already put tomorrows cycle specials out. I bought the track pump as it seemed pretty good for £4.99. However, they also had seven of the cycle work stands at £29.99 each. I don't know if this is a national offer as the stands aren't listed on their website and I was surprised to see them.

Not listed for my area either but if you can get one they're well worth it. Earliest I can get in is after work tomorrow, so hope there's still some jerseys and at least 1 kickstand left.
I've been looking for a stand for MTB for when I have the kids trailer attached and can't fit stand behind BB (old U-brakes).

I have a couple of Smart 1/2 watt rear lights and I have lost the mounting bracket for one of them. I was wondering if the Pound Shop rear light mount would fit so I bought one today just for the hell of it. The mount didn't fit, however for 99p I was pleasantly surprised at the light. Though not as bright as the Smart lights for someone on a budget they would be perfectly adequate. The ones they used to sell looked very cheap and nasty but these newer ones don't look bad. I may get half a dozen and chance my arm on Ebay.

Meanwhile I still don't have my Smart light mount!

I brought one of these baselayers today and I agree totally, made me burst into Y.M.C.A as soon as I put it on. Looks good tho.

FWIW I can't find any evidence to support the use of compression clothing. However if it makes you feel better do it.
