I sort of feel responsible for having passed this dog onto the forum. I wonder, did anyone here get their sample?

I'm not very IT-savvy but I would have thought that it would be perfectly possible to count how many samples they have and limit the number of applications received to that number instead of continuing to harvest personal details. What Muc-off have done is deeply cynical and dishonest if not fraudulent. I've got an almost finished bottle of muc-off lube here. I'm not going to replace it now because they're a disreputable company.

I haven't had the email (or the sample) yet, but I applied about a week before it was mentioned here having spotted it on another forum (apologies for not posting it myself). My guess would be if it's first-come-first-served, then they'd perhaps run out by the time it was posted here.

I share the negative views of them from folks above.
So I'll unsubscribe as well and avoid the stuff in future - other stuff available - it's only degreaser for **cks sake - I only use it diluted on the chain.
Bit of an own goal for them really isn't it? - never underestimate the stupidity of clever marketing people.
