Just bought 4 KMC Z82 8 speed chains from Parker International at £6 a pop:-

looks like a decent deal on a reasonable chain for those that run hub gears etc.

Excuse me asking - why do you say for "hub gears".

Does it come with the KMC link? - maybe all do, I don't know, never really used KMC.

just price really, yes they come with the KMC link and are 3/32. You can run almost any chain on a hub gear, unless your cog and chainring are 1/8. You can spend a lot on singlespeed specific but I find a regular derailleur chain works well and lasts plenty long enough. It's also a little more flexible if your chainline isn't spot on.

Ok Macb - thanks - might get some for my 7-speed - used as a tourer sometime - see no reason why cheap/good value should mean just for hub gears and in fact the 3/7 (21) dual-drive on my Speed Pro is a very expensive hub - approaching the price of some complete bikes. oh the wonder of 7-speed - :smile:
