Not a bargain as such and I'm going to give the disclaimer that it is now an old unit, but given all factors this isn't a bad buy - especially given the amount various people have been somewhat inflatedly flogging for them on here in the not so distant past. Certainly owned by many members on here. Garmin etrex vista HCx £89.99 new.

I have no idea if this is a continuous deal in various places but I just bought a high 5 water bottle which contained 4 various energy gels + a free sample of an energy tablet for no extra charge from Evans. Bottle cost £3.99, gels and sample come to well over an extra £4 for free so this seemed like an ace bargain.

Bought it with a bottle cage, first time I've used one on my bike. Is it strange that I felt excited buying a water bottle and a bit of plastic?

Go Outdoors are selling the Etrex 10 for £79.99 for one day only on 17th March. Its a geocaching bundle but no idea whats in it.

Tomba put me onto this, the offer went live today for the 17th:

http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/Lib/Img/Promotions/march-megadeals-27_02_12/coupons/One-Day-Wonders-Coupons-13_03_12.pdf?utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=12_03_12-March Megadeals-OneDayCoupons (FULL LIST)&utm_content= Printable Coupon

Or Enter Code 'ETREX10' online

It is a basic B&W model and I've since decided to go for a mid range GPS, but as entry level it seems to be ok?
Shimano A520 pedals, £29.99 @ Edinburgh Bicycle Coop. I've just had Evans price-match them down from £44.99.
Paul - is the design of these made so that normal shoes can be worn rather than SPDs? If so I might buy some for the wife's bike.

YES... see pic here which is a bit clearer http://www.billybilslandcycles.co.uk/catalog/pedals/shimano-a520 However, I find the M324 which is a chunkier mtb version a better choice

Jay, i've got Shimano A520s and thats not them on the Billy Bilsland site, that link is showing A530s I think (link here) and here's the A520s (link) that I got from Ribble.

You can see both here too http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/categories/accessories/pedals-toeclips/pedals-road-touring-clipless
