Maybe the gym sells stuff that's even pricier ?

I totally agree with what Ian said. Also people should stop putting Aldi stuff up in bargains, it’s cheap stuff that’s why it’s cheap. Not exactly exposure quality lights at a nice price. I’ll start putting pound shop posts up, look it’s only £1.
Bye.
I'm pretty sure that front light is not road-legal (no K~ number) and basically a torch beam, so you still need proper lights for on-road use if you don't want to dazzle oncoming riders and don't want to point the front light at the ground. (The chance of being stopped by police for lit-but-illegal at the moment is almost zero unless involved in a crash.) Better to wait for the next Lidl sale for bargain road lights. Not in my nearest Aldi . I recommend the light sets good at £14.99 , definitely buy another set or two if I saw them at £9.99 . ( I live in a town with 3 Aldi branches, so may check the other 2 )

Exactly. Aldi should be banned from the bargain thread with the only exception of work stands.
There good enough, had a set for years on a work bike.Still ok now.How good are those front lights? im looking for a replacement set for dark country lane commute
Yes, but it was ruled immaterial. As I wrote, the chance of police attention is recently near zero. I'd not use such lights because I don't want to be a daffodil dazzling other riders, and I think it worth warning potential buyers that those lights are that sort of shoot.Has anyone EVER heard mention of illegal lights being mentioned in any case ? I'd really not worry.
