Yep, allow several hours, don't rush it. Once fitted you can pretty much forget about them and just ride.I have fitted some SKS ones on my Hybrid so know all too well how much of a faff it is, but well worth the warning.

Good spot - have never understood the advantage of folding tyres unless you are heading out to ultra ultra remote places touring loaded and want to carry a spare with you. And very few folk do that.If happy with wired gravel tyres (non folding), good price on Schwalbe g one at merlin

I agree unless it’s winter.No point spending £££ on a lighter bike and then sticking heavier than necessary tyres on everything else being equal
As far as I know the spec of the tyres is the same (or better). I’ve not comparedI agree unless it’s winter.
