£75 for a decent wheelset. Must resist.....
Best set for commuting on 11 speed shimano? Seems to be a bewildering array of options....

Don't know what these gloves are like, but I use Altura reflective gloves for commuting when it's dark & I find that car drivers can clearly see handsignals

Picked some up for the Mrs (tbh I'd think you'd only notice the red rims out the box, and given her 'old' Tarmac is blue and white with red accents it'll go fineFor that price, yes. It's a good £300 wheelset for £75.
I suppose that may not always be a good thing !Don't know what these gloves are like, but I use Altura reflective gloves for commuting when it's dark & I find that car drivers can clearly see handsignals
Superstar Components have 50% off road wheels with the code: ROAD50 https://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/shop/road/road-wheels
The superstar ones are pretty snazzy, just arrived half an hour ago which is impressive in itself. They're supplied without axles or rim tape which isn't an issue but I hadn't realised. View attachment 501023

I was interested in both sets but the red put me off the superstar,if they were black,I would have went for them over the vision wheels..the vision wheels seem very badly reviewed. In the end I went for campagnolo khamsin for 135 from merlin,This included a loyalty voucher.150 withoutJust noticed a crack in my rear wheel - Zipp 30s I've had now for nearly 6 years, so these two wheelset deals on Vision 35s and the Essentials Road 2 have come just at the right time. I'm not fussed about the £50 difference between the two, so which one would you guys recommend?
Surely they come with axles?
Do you mean they come without skewers?
Whilst checking out the lightset, I spotted this toolset @ £29.99 which seems remarkably good value ... if you don't have most of the components already of course! Useful for someone just starting out perhaps?https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/ribble-light-set-fl300-rl150/#pid=46506
Ribble have a sale on and this lightset looked OK to me for £22 posted. Some money off certain bikes too.
"Why, yes please Mr/Ms cyclist, I would like some Gold Blend!"I suppose that may not always be a good thing !
