The rear Raceblades are IMO no better than a clamp on seat post rear mudguard like a Zefal Swan as they provide no protection to the lower parts of the seat post and front derailleur from mud etc thrown off the wheel. I put a posting in the What have you fettled today tread of a solution I came up for that issue

yes often excellent stuff.
I noted that none of their truly excellent shoes this year though (I have two pairs) - maybe I shouldn't have given them such a glowing review

Northern Rail have a flash 10 pence ticket sale on. Limited routes and dates, but I’ve just managed to book a day trip from Nottingham to Harrogate for myself and MrsR for the grand total of 40p return!

Seems like some people think that if it's on the 'bay then it must be cheap, one example is a Lifeline 600ml Waterbottle. Brand new on the Wiggle site it is £2.49 inc P&P, but some knucklehead has bid £0.99 + £2.99 P&P so a of total £3.98 You couldn't make it up!

To be fair to Northern they ran the same offer a few months ago - we had a day out in Leeds for very little money and all trains were present and correct!
