Stop it - I'm trying to resist!
If you can apply all those discounts together, it's quite a bike for £560-ish, isn't it?
I think the relevant word here is 'if', I got the cashback and trade in discounts from the Quidco website so they should be current but didn't see any more details on T&C's (didn't have time to look too deeply). I've had quite a good success rate with cashback from Halfords but have had the occasional refusal. I think you can only put in one discount code (although didn't try it), but if you've got an old bike doing nothing then using the 20% trade in code may be the way to go!
If you were in the market for this bike then would definitely be worth checking out with Halfords!

Anyone fancy a tandem?

£250 off this one at Halfords, bringing the price down to a very modest sounding £500

If your main reservation is that you don't have anyone to cycle with, there are partnering services that will pair you with a local partially-sighted stoker.
A quick Google found this:

And I'm sure there have been other services listed on a thread here. I'll try and search if I remember next time I am on a PC, and add here.

There is no greater motivation for a ride, than someone else, and peer support.

In the summer, I bought some stuff off DX.com for winter commuting, and now I have been using it all a while I can recommend it.

I like to have reflective gear on at night & I like to have some hi-vis during the day. Seeing all the bargain black jackets & jerseys on here which I have bought for £20 or less I now wear one of these over the top, which is very reflective & only cost £3.60.

I also bought a nifty little light for the back of my saddlebag. It has various flashing modes as well as three steady ones. I haven't felt the need for the brightest setting just yet. The battery lasts plenty of time for commuting. I haven't tested the 14 hours claimed life on low but I can believe it.

I also got some of these to use instead of trouser clips, or around the wrists or ankles for more night-time visibility as my warmest gloves are not reflective.

I have one of those lights on the way already, although the one I ordered is multi-color ,hoping to run it as a supplementary rear in its multi color flashing mode

Boardman 8.9C carbon road bike, reduced from £1000 to £850 at Cycle Republic.
Use code "Save80" to reduce that again to £770.

BC discount should be available too.

Shame the groupset is Tiagra. 105 is real step up in quality and 11 speed, it benefits from the “trickle down” from Dura-ace and Ultegra as the design of all three groupsets is very similar. I have a 105 5800 groupset on my BMC ALR01 and the drivetrain and brakes are just sublime.
