This Felt road bike with Tiagra & Hydraulics seems a good buy, an extra £200 off at checkout so £699!

I saw those a couple of days ago so took a trip to Merlin. They got a boxed one out for me it was wrapped up but I could see the tyre clearance was big,and had mudguard and rack mounts.Seemed light enough as well. Went home and ordered one!
It will be my dual purpose winter/gravel bike.

Alongside their cycling stuff, Aldi were selling “PhD” protein bars (£1.99) and Flapjacks (£1.19). But the label on the shelf said that the price was per BOX, not per bar, and the boxes were unopened. So yesterday morning my local branch was selling them at 1.19/1.99 for a dozen. Boxes didn’t scan, but they had a note at the till with the code.

Today they had fixed the label, and were selling them at that price each.

Ignore the ridiculous RRP, now reduced to £359 which isn’t a bad price for a SRAM Apex equipped bike. This new ‘old stock’ Moda Bolero is available in size XS and S only (53 & 54cm top tube) and comes fitted with mudguards.

Let them know. Everyone makes mistakes.
I just tried to but there's nobody on the chat line. It says to leave an offline message but doesn't say how I'm supposed to do that. I'll let them find out for themselves. Somebody who is interested in buying one is bound to query the price sooner or later.

I noted some winter bib longs were wearing thin so these for only £15.75 delivered will do nicely.

Eventual report back on these - was impressed on receiving them but only just got round to using them.

I was concerned that the pad might be a little lightweight for prolonged usage but did 60 miles up and down and through a sodden yorkshire dales and all was well.

Thanks for the initial spot and for the other poster who educated me about the company.

They are still available I think from the original supplier though at a higher price - I guess because of the time of year.

Maybe reduced again I suppose once the sun starts blazing in spring.

I think, 20 plus years after getting back into cycling, I have eventually become a convert to bibs for full day rides.

Anyone interested, do note the comments upthread about sizing.

I'm using mine tomorrow, due to be 8 degrees when I ride in. First single figure temperature of the season.

Not so much of a bargain in the sense that its cheaper now, as the price for these are always the same.
But in case people were not aware. B&M do flapjacks for between 19p each and the size they are makes them ideal for having in your jersey pocket.

My son (who races) swears by them much better than Gels (for him)

Here's an example, but they do a few different flavors too
