Planet-X offers on Smart lights continue.

This for example...just got one yesterday. Low setting is brighter than the Low on the Hope Vision 1. High is similar to Medium on the Hope.

Pretty adequate as a main light on a FNRttC or as a back-up light for a longer Audax.

Lighter than the Hope too as it's only 2 x AA.

£15.99 for a light that's not far short of of an Ixon IQ or Hope 1 class. :wahhey:

What's the fitting like - will it hold up on bumpy roads?

Halfords (yeah, ok, I know)

3 for 2
on accessories, helmets parts and tools.

Naturally I didn't find this until after ordering elsewhere......

There's a hard plastic bracket attached to the light body (a small lever can be depressed to remove the light from the bracket - mine doesn't have a very positive action when refitting) and a more flexible part that goes under the handlebar. This can be moved in relation to the top part to accomodate different bar diameters. A metal screw with plastic nut at the end tightens the two parts together. Seems a pretty robust setup.

Sorry if its been posted before but was just sent this on an email.

9 mags delivered just cost me £3. Once the money has come out you can cancel the direct debit.

I did this a couple of years and it worked out ok.

Cant add much more as I'm knackered due to a very lively 9 week old German Shepherd!! ( This takes me to 3 GSD's.)

Cheers Stuart.

Is there any where online where you can take on this offer? Link would be really useful if so.

Halfords (I know, I know - I went to buy tools not receive any expert advice) have an interesting deal on that doesn't appear to be advertised on their website and isn't particularly well advertised in store either.

Buy ANY cycling accessory and get either:-

Muc Off Bike Cleaning kit (£29.99)

OR

Halfords Essentials Bike Toolkit (£29.99)

for £14.99

I was a bit confused as to what qualified as a 'Cycling accessory' as was the lad that served me, but seeing as I popped in to buy a full price toolkit and some cycle grease (£6) he tried scanning the grease first and low and behold the toolkit scanned at £14.99 - Bargain!
