16th June 2009... two weeks after four of us finished the C2C from Whitehaven to Tynemouth... I'm the only one still here but I did get six months off for good behaviour a few years ago, when I had a load of work to get done one summer but spent too long on here!

I only ‘looked in’ to get some touring advice.

Edited to add that I joined the old Cycling Plus forum in 2005 for above-mentioned advice, then was part of the big exodus here in 2007. And I’ve gone through three laptops and am on my third mobile phone, and I still have finger prints left on my ‘typing’ thumb. 👍
