Yebbut; having done a little bit of half-hearted research into LEJOG in the past, I was under the impression that there are a lot of similar hills throughout Devon and Cornwall? Someone a lot fitter than me described the first 2 days of LEJOG as soul destroying. :ohmy:

It is what triple chainsets were designed for! :okay:

The bike in my photo used to have a 39/29 bottom gear but I was struggling on climbs similar to the steep one I had just climbed before stopping for that photo-op. I fitted a triple and changed the cassette so I now have a much more rider-friendly 28/30 bottom gear for the steep stuff.

she did yes, she was about to have a major spinal op last time i heard anything from her, she was in a really bad way with multiple issues healthwise i have sent several pm's , dont have any contact details, but never got a reply. i often wonder how she is
