On the "meeting" I have met/know a few folk on here - vast vast majority nudging 100 per cent very nice.
One or two folks I avoided on rides (why spoil a nice ride and social occasion?) and drifted by them.
I am active on another cycling place and there is one thing I find curious - I am quite chatty when out and about, not rare for me to get chatting to a cyclist but whenever after a while I sometimes ask if they are on one of the cycling forums I don't remember anyone ever saying yes. Shame? In deep cover?

well you haven't lost your marbles in this crisis. Most of the people I've met in real life have been good company, including many of those who left - or were thrown out - in the last great mass exodus.
