The polymers in some kinds of finished CF don't do well in salt, but if you're not washing your bike in seawater I can't see it being a problem. One thing is for sure - it rusts more slowly than steel!

The bar and stem are from the Boston Mavic team, I bought them from one of the team’s mechanics. He had one of Eddy Merckx’s team Fiat bikes on the work-stand, De Rosa frame which had been carried over and repainted from Molteni:notworthy:
