Fair question...it's just one of those things. It's like it jars when I hear ree-search. It's ri-search, isn't it? Doesn't matter a toss - like I say, it jars. Guess I'm curious to know whether it's just me.

There are many many others. 'Sandwich' is a good one; sandwich/sanwich/sandwitch/sanwitch/samwitch.... etc etc etc

Incidentelly, I am also familiar with the versw Waffles quotes, only for some reason I always pronounce the last word as 'Howwid!'
I must read too much 'William'
