I'm looking for my first road bike did you get this one and how is it been looking at the vilano forza 4.0ost say it's a good starter

I hadn't heard of it and it doesn't seem to be available in the UK. It seems to be a very modestly specfied road bike. I would aim for something better. Reviews I found read like an advertising manual translated into English, so treat them with a great deal of suspicion. Examples from two of what are supposed to be independent reviews:-

"The synchronicity between the front and rear derailleurs with the gears is outstanding"
"Triple crankset bikes usually come with 21 speeds, but Vilano stretches the bike with 24. This makes it possible to reach high speeds and you can get the ultimate riding experience on those bright & sunny days. From fitness point of view, this will make you sweat."

Have you looked for a second hand one on Craigslist or similar or asked around at local bike shops?

Thank you so much for all of the replies. I was set on the Cross, then someone linked me this:

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/verenti-substance-sora-2016/

Got it on finance, so we can get a new car too (says alot that I ended up buying a bike before a new car, huh?). I'd rather get something that's more bombproof than flashy (steel is real, after all...), and the Verenti seemed to tick all of the boxes. A solid workhorse to get me back into this wonderful sport. 46-34 and 11-32 should be adequate for all of my needs, but we'll see. Should arrive within the week, and I'm so excited.

My wife is even happier because it finally means I can stop obsessing over and talking about bikes, and she won't have to hear the phrase "I've found the perfect bike" again for at least another few years!
