Omg I get this on long hard rides, so painfully when you get home and take off your shoes.

i only get it on my right foot, but i have had knee op, so i'm hoping the cleat wedges will help re-align foot and knee during the pedalling process. my right arch rises 5mm, so two wedges on that foot should help the issue

My right foot hurts slightly more cos I damaged my right knee years and years ago. I have read up on this and there is so many issues, the wedges do sound like the best solution, what do you have to lose, few pound? You put em on the outside or inside?

Orthotics? I have high arches and dodgy knees. I added specialized inner soles (green) to my spd shoes, had very little foot and ankle pain since. Cost £20 or so

8 wedges are costing 20 quid vic and that should do my winter boots and summer shoes nicely

Spesh foot assessment.

Are your balls of your feet directly over the middle of the axel ?

Also, hate to say it, road pedals do offer better support. I find SPD allow the foot to rock more inside to outer. This doesn't cause me issues over big distances but its worth considering.

will try wedges first fossy, if that doesnt work then it'll be a pedal and shoe change. SWMBO is hoping the wedges work, after spending close to £400 on the furys and the northwave winter boots

I have no idea what cleat wedges are? The insoles support the whole foot also when walking
thwy are 1mm angled wedges that go between the cleat and the shoe and raise the inner foot to its natural position when clipped into the pedal system

Have you had a bike fit? Important when have knee issues. I need to get myself properly sorted this year once the new bike is built as my left knee is knackered. Need to ideally find a physio to do it, rather than an lbs
