I keep seeing Burgers; inside a Hot Cross Bun touted / advertised constantly.

I myself have not been out to eat anywhere I’ve seen one for sale. So being Easter and with all ingredients readily available…….this dinner-time I’ve made my own !

OMG - it was sooooo good. But how ? Surely this shouldn’t work. It’s my new best food honestly. If this turns out to be a life enhancing Super-Food: I’m going to live forever 🤣

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Having recently read the history of the Subway Chain it's not a place that I would venture into.

I had to go to subway the other day when i picked up the car , i had to get petrol and some food and there used to a kfc in the services but its gone and a subway was all there was , nearly £10 for a cob, crisps and a coffee !

EDIT i wouldnt venture into anything like this kfc, burger king , MacDonalds, costa etc i cant abide but the car collection time was awkward for work so i had too.

I was pushed for time myself on Saturday and nearest place was a Greggs. I had never visited one before. I thought the sandwiches were meagre and expensive, the vegan sausage roll was very good indeed and the cheese slice / pasty thing was ok.

We are going to sample Canadian chips with gravy and cheese curds they call it Poutine which means a mess in Quebeciouise slang, can’t wait personally

Seen this and wondered. Infact I think there was a Canadian themed food outlet when I was at Disneyland last year and they sold poutine. For some reason I never tried it - but I’d like to !!

In Poland, the traditional Easter Sunday breakfast is babka (a yeasted fruited, well, it's somewhere between a cake and a bread), butter and ham and / or smoked sausage. Soooooo gooooood!

The combo of fruit loaf / HCB and smoked meat is just the mutt's nuts.

No reason why this wouldn’t work, sweetened buns should work really well assuming filling is properly savoury, which mince and cheddar will be. Dread to think how much sugar is in the standard MaccieD bun.

BUT…hot cross buns? Meat and raisins? I’m out!
