Go on, tilt your head!
I would have a hearty breakfast, maybe a gel or two for the first half then have something about halfway and maybe buy a couple of flapjack or similar to have during the second half.

I've just eaten 2 cheese & onion sandwiches and 2 bananas after travellling 90 miles. I'm just pitching the tent then I'm in the pub for a pint and fish n chips when they open!

Bananas and flapjack for me . No breakfast if on a long ride as I cant eat early in the morning . I also find riding on a full stomach makes me want to puke but I will eat around 9 am if only going out for say 30 - 50 miles at lunch time .
Fatigue is something I have become aware of at around 70 miles no matter what the food intake . Once you are tired you are tired and judging traffic speed etc slows down a little . Ive not made massive mistakes but have called myself an idiot a couple of times because concentration has been lost.

Breakfast I'll have porridge with some dried fruit and chopped nuts added, washed down with a glass of Orange Juice, if I'm having a stop during the ride I'll eat Beans On Toast with a Coffee at the stop, if I'm not stopping I'll carry a few thick slices of Malt Loaf in my pocket and just eat on the move.
