Guys and girls I'm getting on in ages and using my trusty Ridgeback vanteo hybrid every couple of days and love it . Just recently went on a rough ride with my son . The Venteo held up fine but I have a feeling I could do with a 2nd bike with front shocks for the rough stuff. I have been offered the bike in the title for £100. Is this roughly a good price and is there anything I should look out for ? Any feed back greatly accepted

Looks in good nick from that picture.

Fair price too.

Reasonable price for the bike, looks in good condition.

Keep in mind that the suspension won't do a huge amount for you unless the front of the bike was taking significant impacts such as riding off drops of curb height or greater. Most of the improvement in ride quality you'll get will be from the higher volume tyres - those look to be reasonably big.

Overall I'd go for it, worst case scenario you don't like it particularly and sell it on, but you'll easily get your money back so not much risk.

Cheers for the input . I'm going to pick it up on Saturday

Well the bike never came home with me . Where do I start ? It was a dog. Shocks shot tires shot . Gears were as ruff as get out and the rear caliper was leaking . So just left it .

Sounds like a good move. It's very irritating when people do that kind of thing.

Makes sense, I'd have pointed out those issues and tried to get it for £25 though  In practice you're talking about £50 for tyres and another £60-70 for a service plus any parts and potentially another £50 for a replacement caliper, so unless you're willing to service it yourself the price has escalated very quickly.
