Write me a quality review (i.e. not C+ std), and I'll pay £25 for it, innit.

£50 and I might even post a video on youtube! ;)

C'mon, Magnatom! Where's our review?

I'm still waiting for the memory card to arrive . You can'r record anything without it! As soon as I have it I will plonk the camera on the bike and see what I get.

One problem is that it certainly isn't waterproof. I suppose if I fix it under the saddle and wrap the body of it in a plastic bag or something similar, it might be ok, but I'll be using it on dry days only to start with.

Possibly, but I probably wouldn't want to cover the lens itself, otherwise the video quality might suffer.

...it may not though, it might even improve it!

We won't know until you've test driven it!

So who will be funding all of these tests? I'm happy, if a helmet camera company is willing to be a reviewer of these devices, if they can supply them of course!

A 200mAh battery ... that's probably good for no more than 15-20 mins.

Apparently for this little device it will run for 30-40 mins, which is enough for my commute. However, it comes with some contacts on the back which you can connect a 5v power supply to, so you could attach a battery pack to it. You can also connect a switch to it to start and stop it filming. As it is a lipo battery temperature will also be an issue, especially in the winter

With the 2Gb card (max) I hear it will hold about 30-40 minutes of recording. However, it can loop record so it will hold the last 30 minutes or so after you stop it. This could be quite useful, especially if you had a battery pack attached and you were willing to stop it when you had an incident you wanted to download off of it.

Anyway I will know more when I get to test it. Where is this card.....

Would it be possible to have a look at the source video to get a better idea of the video quality?

I'd be happy to host it on my website if you'd like...

On the subject of the camera, I quite like the field of view, and the quality looks pretty neat for a £40 device!

To be fair ,the quality is really pretty good! How do you think it compares to the AT2K on original footage quality? Obviously size is a bonus. The audio was better than expected too. Is it out of the wind where you've placed it?

Has anyone successfully used bike mounted camera gear as an aid in a case against a driver?
