You don't really ever get a break when riding somewhere really flat. It makes discipline and pacing really important. Can be desperately dull.

Hmm ... I like little hills ... and hate ones I stuggle to get up. I think I'm a lazy cyclist - I plan my routes to avoid the hills I hate if I can.
