It is pretty quick  Someone probably took offence at you overtaking them on the leaderboard for average speed. You probably don't need to look too far down to see who it was.

Personally I'd keep doing very short fast rides on it to really piss them off. Couple of miles a time

Tempting, but I'm not that petty. I'll just remove myself from the CC strava "club" and get on with my own rides and not worry about what other people are doing.

My life goes beyond leaderboards.

Don't let it bother you.....there are some petty people out there in all walks of life! I actually never realised you could go into the cc club and look at that leaderboard thingy. Maybe I shouldn't have looked as I am trying to take it easy just now and shrug off a bug I seem to be carrying.

I cant see what youre talking about . Has it been removed ?
No but once you flag it, it gets taken out of any segments or leaderboards or challenges.

I wouldn't leave the club Tcr, I find it a motivator to keep going, see what others are doing. For me it's not about keeping up, it's about keeping going

TBH I never looked at the leaderboards in the club before yesterday, because I knew I wouldn't ever be anywhere near the top.
Not much point being a part of something I don't actually use.

Christ, has this what it has come to. People getting annoyed about losing their place on a leader board, by a bike that doesn't move? N.

You need to get out in the fresh air and ride a bit.

I can't see the point of recording 'distance' or 'speed' on a turbo trainer, because they don't mean anything unless you can accurately calibrate it.

My gym bike has a computer which claims to measure calorie burn, but it does not know my weight, and does not measure what resistance has been set! I only use it to display elapsed time and just work on a given level of perceived effort for certain time intervals.

Agree-but I think it's more of recording "something" that you can then look back on. Power/heart rate would be much better.

I wanted heart rate, cadence and time. My garmin 800 happens to also record speed and distance due to the cadence sensor.

Not a lot I can do about that.

I've removed myself from the group, so no one has to worry about me beating their top scores again.

I'm not on Strava but trying to understand this.

So @Tcr4x4 peddled the equivalent of 10 miles on a trainer. Then put the results on Strava. This resulted him in being top of a leader board for rides. Other got peeved and flagged it so it got removed. Are these other people in the group also on a trainer or are they cyclists out on the road?
If you were the only one on a trainer then I can understand it getting flagged. If all on trainers then sounds a bit petty,

It went onto the CC group, which I presume people here use for both road and trainer.
I didn't even think of leaderboards, I just uploaded it to strava as I do all my activities. I marked it as a stationary trainer ride and gave it no more thought until it got flagged.

Like I say, I've left the group now anyway, as I had never even looked at the leaderboards and didn't even realise a stationary trainer ride would be included so no one needs worry, I shall just keep all my rides on my personal strava page for my own information.
