First Visit To See Le Tour De France

Has anyone seen a website where you can see the stage route and the road profile? I want to catch the stage 11 TT on a bit of a hill

I will be seeing stages 10, 11 and 12.
One finish in St Malo, one time trial probably see that in Ducey (tight roads), and the start from Fougeres

We're watching the same stages too and like you I am probably going to head to Ducey to watch the TT, as there is a right/left hander in the centre, so will be going slower.

I was actually thinking of watching en-route a couple of K outside Ducey as there's a short incline (5% gradient or so) but it's in the middle of nowhere and so no facilities nearby.

I think the TT starts about 9 in the morning and goes on all day, so all riders must be at 3 minute intervals?.

You have had exactly the same thoughts as me with regards to stage 11, I will either do Ducey, Poilley (another sharp bend) or that 5% incline, Ducey and Poilley will be rammed I reckon though. Ducey is a beautiful town and I have driven through it many times.

I managed to download a GPX of the stage and uploaded it to mapmyride where I did a google earth 3D flyover

Sorry no, I have a house near Fougeres

How long have you had a house there fella? My mother used to live just outside Fougeres until 3 years ago and know quite a few of the Brits in the area?

I've had a house there about 5 years, in Pontmain, well just outside

Yes, that does look a good spot, 2 sharp bends close to each other
