Nice !
With regards the gears as other have said you probably need to adjust the limit screw and you said that the gears make a noise all the time ? could be that they are not perfectly indexed so does it feel sluggish shifting to the small or big cog?If you stand behind the bike there is a barrel adjuster coming out of the rear mech.If you want it to shift quicker towards the bike turn it 1/4 turn toards the wheel (anti clockwise) and to go out towards the frame turn the other way.Only do 1 turn at a time and then check so you can easily put it back if it makes it worse.
Pump? I am sorry to say that mini pumps do not really cut it and i doubt that the pump will let you get to 120 psi even though it says it can make it you would be there a long time and have arms of iron to do so.
If you want a pump that gets up to pressure quickly i can recommend the topeak road morph that acts as a mini track pump and can get you tyre up to pressure very quickly.talking of track pumps i would advise getting one for home if you can to top up your tyres as it makes it a lot easier .Joe Blow pumps are highly regarded as well priced and work well.

Has that got grip shift gears? I was considering this but went for the Roma instead because of the grip shift.. Just looks a different colour to the giro I was looking at. Wondering if this was an older model.

It has lever shifters next to the stem, another member on here got some some speed sora shifters and converted the bike so he could shift and brake from the hoods, below is a piccie of the stock shifters

I went out for a much longer ride this morning. When on the bigger chain-ring, the gears/chain doesnt make any noise at all. Again, I just manually put the chain onto the smallest sprocket and cycled for a wee bit - the gear seemed to click at a rather even rate, possibly one complete turn of the chain. However, when the chain was on the smaller chain-ring, it seemed to be making noise not matter what gear i was in, it sounded as if the chain may be rubbing against something.

I`ll have a look tomorrow as my legs don`t appear to be working - spent half the ride cycling into a monstrous head-wind, average speed going out was 22.7mph, coming back, it dropped to 13.4mph

Push the lever a little.
It will move the mech across a small amount
