First time out on my first road bike today. What a difference.

Got my Dawes Horizon tourer just over ten days a go and BH Monday did 23 1/2 miles which is the furthest I have been in one day. Compared to the hybrid it was so quick.

Maybe you could convince my wife. In here world, my bike has two wheels gears etc. So how can a road bike make such a difference.

You could tell her that the Dolce is an endurance/touring bike that is meant to be more relaxed and comfortable than a short distance racing road bike. And that the difference between the Dolce and a Hybrid in terms of fun would be substantial. ;-)

Actually I've never had a go on a mountain bike, are they any good?
