Seems far to early, but our local butcher had his sign out yesterday saying that they are taking Christmas orders.

Just spoken with my son who is in Salisbury and his local co-op had mince pies in today.

It's not even the end of September 😂

I complain about too much Christmas nonsense as much as anyone but to be fair, businesses do need to plan and hope people have their orders in early so they can have stuff in stock, etc.

Only 98 sleeps until Christmas, or 24 if you are an insomniac.

I worked in a toy warehouse for a couple of months back in the day. We were flat out with Christmas overtime in July and the manufacturers were in full flow much earlier. The Christmas trade shows were held in January and February. It is a precarious business, having to guess what will still be in vogue nearly twelve months hence, get it wrong and you're dead in the water.

Our local Quality Save had a full Christmas aisle when I went in earlier today, I left well alone, I'll do my Christmas shopping on Christmas eve. 😂
