after riding mtb's for years i have finally got myself a road bike, and i took it out today and MY WORD WHAT A DIFFERENCE, ease of pedaling, speed pick up is out of this world, and i was amazed at how comfy that razor looking saddle was!!! My new bike is the Specialized Secteur, it is awesome, think my mtb is now going up for sale!!!
one thing i wasnt expecting was to be nearly being blown over by the wind, need to adjust myself to how light the bike is lol.
i'm one happy chappy :biggrin::biggrin:;)

Yes, changing to a road bike from MTB is a pleasant experience. Don't sell the MTB just yet it may come in handy in winter or in bad weather when you don't want to use the good bike or if you commute and carry luggage.

Enjoy

Hey, photochap, I just put a deposit on one of those.

Hopefully they'll be able to clean it off before I collect the bike. :wacko:

Awwwww nice one I am happy for you ;)

As has been said, keep the MTB. I am getting a hybrid ( that will be my second bike, having only been cycling four months ) on the 1st November and I am definately keeping the MTB that has seen me through hundreds of miles ( maybe about 2000 in fact ) for the off road and winter rides :smile:
