First ride in heavy rain - does it affect average speed tho?

I reckon I could have squeezed a bit more speed out as there's currently traffic lights from some invisible roadworks at the top of the hill so the 48mph was done from a standing start at the top :smile:

Yes but it would have given me a longer piece of road to keep the power on, i had to bottle it as theres a very sharp 90 degree left at the bottom. I'm only saying that because it makes me want to get past the 50mph barrier lol

I was laid so flat on the bike I'd have fallen off backwards it i went any further back

I always drop my speed in the wet.....too many "offs" mean I am extra careful now....although I tend to forget and always want to push on!!!
