I’m wondering just how many Cyclechat readers own a two wheel recumbent?
I have one two wheel and one three wheel recumbent.

The two wheeler is a "CWLB", or "Compact Long Wheelbase" model, which is basically the old-school version of a "crank forward" layout. It has a chair with a back, a small front wheel, and pullback handlebars.

It isn't very stable - or, more likely, I'm not a very good rider yet - but it's very comfortable

Whilst reading the ‘who has the best bike’ thread I came across a recumbent bike picture. This looked interesting so I did a YouTube search and came upon Cruzbike.com. I watched two videos one of a Cruzbike Q45 being ridden by an old guy rather fast too and another one assembling a Cruzbike Q45 out of the box. These recumbent bikes are very interesting and I’m wondering just how many Cyclechat readers own a two wheel recumbent?

I built something similar to this a few years back, but decided it was not for me. Pedal steer was too 'strange', and I quickly moved on to other things. Also some time back, I built a SWB, which I did use for a few months, but again gave up as having the BB so high compared to the seat height was not comfortable. Others say they have no issues, or you get used to it, so don't let me put you off.

My regular 'bent rides are a tadpole trike and a LWB, each very comfortable and enjoyable to ride.

Here's a group photo of my regular rides, with the addition of a Triumph shopper bike not shown
