Nice one  I was planning my first 50 this weekend, but fighting a virus so I'll have to be sensible and take it easy, so a 20 and a 30 for me this weekend hopefully

Just wanted to share my first 50 mile ride with you all :-)

Had a day of work and no children, weather was nice but a little windy.

Managed 53.3 miles which I enjoyed immensely, although my legs are feeling it now. Managed this in 3 hours 6 minutes and loved it.

Sorry to spout on but had to tell someone as my missus just thinks im daft. :-)

Well done! Very decent time too!

I think Im going to do mine first 50 miles tomorrow, as long as the weather holds.
Hopefully I'll be able to get out of manchester and enjoy some of the hills towards the manc/derbyshire boarder!
I dont half miss the countryside since coming to uni

Well done Johnym. You have set the bar now for all of us still building up to the big 50.

Waiting for better weather here , seems odd with the mild winter we have had this year in Illinois . But I have to start putting in the miles so I'm ready for a 100 mile ride in August. I rode 20 miles Wednesday , but need to increase my miles and decrease my weight.
