I really like the SPDs. Makes me feel at one with the bike :smile:


Ive come off twice with the SPDs. First I had stopped at a roundabout because of traffic. And I took my foot out of the pedal, then went to put my foot on the floor and accidently put it back in the pedal. Woops.


Second time i was going up a hill and changed gear down and the chain at the front came off.. as i was going slow anyway and the shock of the chain coming off, my mind mushed and i forgot how to get out of the pedals and i was off. But at least both falls were at scarey speeds of 0mph :smile:

You MUST have at least on fall whilst using SPD's.

I agree 100% with the at one with the bike feeling. It is so much more organic. Flats feel so very strange to me now :smile:
