First 50 Miler

Thanks for all the positive responses guys. Looks like the glasses will be an on going issue here in down pour Ireland. May try Rain X type stff.

Well done. I did my first 50miler in 23 yrs recently, very satisfying.

I've got the same problem with my bins. peak on helmet helps, but there's not much you can do when the wind is driving. Thinking about getting prescription sports glasses to help keep the rain out, but unsure how vision will be.

23 years?I thought I was slow taking over 4 hrs.

Re rain on glasses I have gloves with a cloth back bit that wipes it off and usually a clean cloth in a pocket for a better job now and then.

I wouldnt risk putting anything on the lenses.
