well done rollinstock, I'm still at 50, just going a bit faster than I was when I first managed it. I'd promised myself a longer trip on friday but there was an event at the kids school that was at 1. How are you supposed to fit in a decent ride with that ?? especially as I don't get the house to myself till about 8.45 and I CANNOT put on cycle shorts within sight of a teenager without them making retching noises. Anyway set off at 9 and so panicked at thought of being late that I'd done 47 miles with two stops by ten past twelve. and had time to make lunch (fortunate otherwise I'd probably have eaten the parent sitting next to me at the event). Knees suffered though, husband is incredulous at my efforts to avoid bending down. Not being helped by having to type this kneeling on a hard floor because the kids have stolen the computer chair.....
