26 to 79 miles is a big step and you may sufferto finish it. Like Stu said, do a 50 first to see how you cope. Good luck anyway.
Thanks guys...will take your advice and get out next weekend for a 50. There's no time limit (as long as it is done in a day so hoping to get through it by eating lots and taking a sponge for extra padding!!!

Went out today and did a few miles. I really thought that I would feel rubish....glad to say that wasn't the case and I felt alright my quads were burning on even the slightest climb. I have learned a good lesson about taking the right food and drink with me :blush:
