Today I completed my first ever 100 miler!
I'm feeling very pleased with myself, I can tell you! There wasn't too much hillage involved but the lashing rain at the beginning & the MeanEvilNasty wind for the last third certainly meant it was no easy poodle about the countryside.
Highlights were the long empty lanes & lunch on the beach
Low points were the wind & the Hawk making off with a baby rabbit right in front of me!
I'll do another one......another time........when i'm recovered!

:bravo: Brilliant.:bravo: I've never attempted more than 67 miles, and the target of 100 is starting to gnaw away at me. What was your longest ride before today?

Well done. I haven't made it that far yet.

I've been cycling regularly since October and have achieved a lot of milestones, but I'm still short on that one.

I'm insanely jealous!!! What a great achievement - many congratulations.

And here I am, Sunday morning, after riding my first 18 miler on Friday morning (with no stopping or break, I might add!) and wondering whether to venture out again this morning or hang on until Monday, just do some light exercise today instead. My legs still feel a little heavy but I'm absolutely itching to get back on my bike ........... so maybe today I shall hop on, get going and see how I feel.

Well done again - you have every right to feel proud!

I'd echo what everyone else has said and take the day ff and relax after going that far.

I am slowly edging towards the 100 mile mark, just 30 more to go after I managed a 70 earlier in the week.
