Finished your Christmas shopping yet?

I'm not in the 'leave it to the last minute' brigade - I find it way too stressful being out in the crowds once the December rush kick in. Really not a nice place to be.

Have ideas for about 90% of what's got to be done - and I think Amazon will be helping with a lot of it!

Are you one of those who like to get it all organised well before Christmas - or do you prefer to do it all in one mad session later?

Last minute for me.Get to the shops 9 in the morning when they open, and back home by 10. It,s the only way.

I like to be organised ahead of time, it also helps to spread the cost. This year I got some stuff made before my back op earlier this month, spent some of my post-op recovery doing on-line shopping and MS is taking me into town tomorrow - I know what I want so will be OK as long as it is in stock. I can't use my discount card on-line so I'd rather get it in store if I can! That just leaves a couple of peeps still to buy for - and no idea at all what to get them (including Mr S)!

I am so tempted to ditch the Christmas shopping.

I'm not a Christian and I don't buy gifts for any other religious celebrations so can't really see the point.
I will give in and start sending Amazon parcels out to my God-daughter's family and anyone else special fairly soon though.

Went to Leeds last Tuesday, had bought for all my family and relations by 3pm, too much "thinking" is where people go wrong.

We picked up a few bits earlier in the year too - spreading the cost really makes sense to me.

I love online shopping more and more compared to the time it takes going into town, squeezing around the crowds between shops... the one exception is when we go into town just for a look around, i.e. without the need to buy anything. When there's no pressure, it can occasionally be a half-decent experience.

Can't understand these people who come out of the big supermarkets with their shopping trolleys overflowing with goodness knows what.The shops are only closed for 2 days. After all its only a Sunday roast with the diners wearing a paper hat.Get real lol.

Presents bought and wrapped before September was over. Had first mince pies on Sept 1st. Xmas booze bought and drunk - refills to be bought again (and again). Nothing of significance left to buy apart from a turkey (want a goose but wife not keen) and a few more veg than normal.
