The colourblind motorcycle boy (mickey rourke) in the film rumblefish, where he's staring at the japanese fighting fish and the pet shop owner asks him what he's doing and his brother rusty james (matt dillon) says he's just looking at the colours.

And the pet shop owner says 'he can't even see the colours'.

Most amazing, clever, utterly intelligent, sexy, brilliant, darkly inspiring film I have ever seen. All the whole thing written by a 16 year old girl, SE Hinton.
