It was quite busy on Sunday so we had to stop a few times to let others by especially at the narrows parts on the tow path. We even had an old couple say that it was the first time that cyclists have pulled over and let them by.
It is a shame about others who think it's a race track, luckily I haven't come across one yet but I bet I will.
You regularly see the Strava pratts doing the aldridge to brownhills stretch on a weekday morning, usually around 7am-9am. They like to go as fast as they can. I like to ride slow and take in the scenery, letting dog walkers go past me and if i spot a nervous cyclist ill pull over into the hedges a bit to give them more space. Unfortunately some of walsalls "finer and elitist" cycling folk think they own the towpath and ruin it for the rest of us. The best we can do is be polite, smile and say good morning/afternoon. As for the offroad motorbikes (another bunch who ruin it for the rest of us legal motorbikers) youll hear them before you see them and its just best to pull to the side and let them go past........ and then hope they come off 100 yards later and find they cant swim when they go flying into the water :laugh: i mean get home safely...:laugh:

Thank you Fab Foodie and good morning.

Morning Hedder2212 I will avoid those times and place.
To be honest I ride slow as I like to look at the scenery too and the wildlife.
I saw a few dog walkers on Sunday mainly old people who were quite sweet and friendly to be honest who all said hello as I stopped to let them by.
The young ones on mopeds get on my nerves, they always seem to go around in pairs too.
Lol  about the bikers flying into the water.
