Fed up of occasionally being shouted at by motorists when taking the primary in 30mph zones

Some of the worse drivers round my way have bikes on the back of their car; they are heading for the Glentress Mtb centre. I bet the idiots have never been on the road :-(

One of my favourite "defences" (after a very close overtake and pull in) was....

I ride a bike so I know just how closely I can overtake safely!

You've just got to remember that as a cyclist, you are a better person than the tongue drooling Neanderthal in the car.

Except when my bike is at home and I'm in my car when I'm still every bit as good as you.

Quite agree; always smile and give a friendly wave. If they are fairly normal they may reconsider what they did ... if they are neanderthal they may stop and discuss it in detail.
