Favourite sweet

With the whisper bar being brought back ,did you have a favourite sweet that they no longer make.
I was partial to that coconut stuff coated in sugar made to resemble tobacco that came in a pack with a galleon on .Was it called Spanish Galleon.
I was also a fan of the Pacer.
Mmmm happy days

I used to love parma violets. They may be still about for all I know. Bazooka Joe bubble gum is possibly the reason my teeth suffer from metal fatigue rather than decay these days

Liquorice Tablets are still available. So are Pontefract Cakes.

However, I do agree with your disappointment about Midget Gems. The loss of the liquorice one was a severe blow on the confectionery front, and something I hope never to have to live through again.

I can't remember to be honest. My overriding memory is of the cherry-red ones.

They've made licorice illegal? Joi!

Wispas keep coming and going. From going with the guy from the local paper shop the the warehouse, he gets 5 boxes of them when he can, and will sometimes get mor the next week so he can keep stock.
My favourit sweets are still around, sherbert pips are my favourit, but its only the old style sweet shops or sweet shops that have lots of different sweets, and i dont go past them much, so only get them once in a while.
