Cheese, salad and pickle.

Chicken and sweetcorn mayonnaise.

Fortunately both are available (in long bread roll form) from my local Mr £wich, for just, yes, £1....

Oh, and corned beef and mustard. But I can't afford corned beef, it's like bloody gold!

Where do we stand on Sandwich Spread? I wasn't keen as a kid, and haven't tried it since, but thinking about it, I'd probably like it. I just never remember to buy a jar to try.

I was raised on (among other things) peanut butter, mayo and lettuce. Try it before you knock it.

Er, no thanks.

(Sorry, can't stand peanut butter. The day we let the American fieldschool students make the sandwiches unsupervised and they made nothing but peanut butter and jam was a black black day.)

Oh, and crisp sandwiches. Must be made fresh though, as I found out when I asked for them in my school packed lunch once. They go soggy in buttered bread. A sandwich of limp discs of potato is not nice.

Peanut butter is food of the Gods, crunchy of course, smooth is for kids, gotta be the Yank stuff though made with just peanuts and not the rubbish we make with sugar, salt, etc. I had peanut butter and cheese today - fab!
