@GuyBoden - a thread hiatus of nearly ten years...

Little Wing.
Nope, not Hendrix, I'm far too young (50s!!!). Afraid I much prefer Sting's version from Nothing Like the Sun.
I believe Branford Marsalis plays soprano sax, from 2:35, although the whole sound is gorgeous (well, that bass guitar sounds a bit dated).
