They are pretty noisy, a nice loud whirring sound but roll along nicely

Designed for soft off road surfaces. Those 3" and wider tyres must have crazy low pressures.

Yup I run my 26x4" tires at 20psi or 15 in mud.

Far too high.
For any traction you need to be more down around 6 or 7 psi.
20psi you may as well be a roasie ;-)

20 was fine today as it was a dry trail
