Ah ok... So there's actually ceramic particles in the lube/wax itself, it isn't specifically for ceramic components...It's for the chain. It wont make a blind bit of difference to your ceramic jockey wheels.
However ceramic wax lube for the chain is imo the best you can get.
Ceramic WAX LubeIf there were ceramic particles in there ,it would act like valve grinding paste.
Ceramic WAX Lube
...Finish Line’s Ceramic-WAX is an advanced wax-based lubricant featuring nano-sized platelets of ceramic boron nitride and micron particles of fluoropolymer. Ceramic WAX creates a coating with an extremely low coefficient of friction. Every time Ceramic WAX is applied, the ceramic coating is enhanced, ultimately providing the durability of many oil-based lubricants! Ceramic WAX ensures total drivetrain cleanliness without the ‘distance’ compromise that other wax lubricants require...
That was just the blurb from their website.Run that by me in English.
Any hard particles, other than balls in a race,or similar, will act as an abrasive,or they will be that small as to act as pseudo science.
You're already being too fancy. Save £££'s and get a bottle of chainsaw oil, simple![]()
