As above any bits you may need will be on E Bay. The 501 double butted tube is surprisingly good lightweight stuff and contrary to [some] opinion] those brakes can be pretty good too if well sorted. Nice bike.

I bought one brand new in 1991, but the decals were slightly different & mine didn't have the suicide brake levers. I loved that bike, sold it a few years ago & wish I hadn't

Yes I hate those levers on the bars....I don't ride it very much as I have two other bikes....but when I do I quite enjoy it. I had to replace quite a few bits on it to make it reasonable...it's not perfect...but nicely aged....

I bought one back in 89/90 and had to sell it in '94. I've just bought it back last week! It's still in pretty good condition, but the rear wheel has been changed at some point. Will be stripping it down for a good service and clean. Excited!
