Was given this bike from a friend he said my son could sell with his current bike to get a new bike amd I cannot seem to find anything about it or it's branding as when I put excel in Google or a image search brings up apollo bikes.
Has a cycles england badge on the front with a X on the front and ambition on the side

Just wanted some ideas please

We get these sort of bikes at the bike charity where I work. We know we won't be able to refurbish them and sell them, which is what we do, and recover the cost of the refurbs. They typically weigh a ton. Scrubbing them up to make them more presentable takes an age and isn't cost effective. You might get £10 to £15. You may get more if you sell some of the parts separately - seat, wheels, shifters, mudguards, chainset, etc.

Aye - looks like a low-end bike shaped object.

Personally I'd not bother attempting to sell it as spares as I doubt any one component will be very good quality / desirable and you'll be left with a load of un-shiftable remnants to get rid of.

IMO you might get £25 if you're lucky, otherwise I suspect you'll end up having to give it away / take it to the local recycling centre.
