My view - they have good stuff, and someone generally knows what they are doing/talking about, but you pay top dollar for it unless it's sale time.

Brought a great CX bike of one of their mechanics though.

It's a new Sirrus sport I am looking at. The place I was going to buy it from don't do the 10% off, though will call them tomorrow to see if they will price match. So just noticed there is a Evans in Glasgow and 10% ain't to be sniffed at.

They don't do 10% off on items already reduced (in my experience). A problem as many of the bikes in there are always "on offer".

They do a wont be beaten on price offer. So find it on the internet, print a page off and take it down there,

In my experience most of the guys know what they are doing and they have a large range of stock, so make sure you get the best price and buy whatever you want

I've bought from them a few times. Some of their sales (which seem neverending?) are crazy. Theres a pair of shimano bike shoes RRP £90 going for £24.99 ... too small for me , alas!

Don't know if it helps you but Edinburgh Cycles is doing 15% off this weekend (starts tomorrow), pretty sure they do the sirrus...

Called Dales, couldn't/wouldn't match Evans (well not giving a CTC discount and Evans do)... however Evans are saying 3 weeks to get the bike in, Dales can have it by Monday... Bot saying they have only one in the UK, I assume this is due to the 2010 range coming out.

Won't they deliver it? EBC has a few shops in the north of England, as well as Edinburgh, and also does mail order.

They have just had a warehouse clearout sort of thing , there were some good bargains to be had , all the pucker stuff was in their main showroom shop , still mega expensive

Wait 'til the Aug/September sales when shops will want to clear 2009 stock so will discount it massively. I got £175 off an already sale price Kona Kula from Evans last year and 6 months interest free credit .

Evans are ok. I think if you are in London they have such a large stock to choose from as they have so many shops and are more likely to carry the size you want so you can test ride it before you buy.
